Dec 21 – This was another milestone project where we planted our first hedgerow around the perimeter of the Club’s playing fields. This comprised of 3,300 hedgerow plants such as hawthorn, blackthorn, buckthorn, spindle, hazel & dog rose. This was funded by a generous grant by the Tree Council as part of their Community Hedge Fund. This was also the event where we had our most volunteers – 42 in one session!
